The Nomadic Adventure Club Yacht Trip / September 22 - 28, 2018 - Puget Sound San Juan Islands
7 days on Private Yacht | $2900 per person. 12 spots only!
This Nomadic Adventure Club II starts in Seattle, Washington with an exciting adventure aboard a crewed private yacht leaving from Elliot Bay Marina located in the beautiful and thriving city of Seattle, Washington. Our lucky Nomadic adventurers will enjoy going to Pikes Market to buy some fresh flowers and stop at the first operating Starbucks for a cup of coffee before back onto our floating paradise aboard the Polar Express. We will have the day and night to explore the city of Seattle before we get underway towards the Puget Sound toward the San Juan Islands.
A bike and micro brew tour will be provided for all participants interested in a guided tour of Seattle while learning all about the best microbrews. After a night in Seattle, we will get underway towards Canada to the beautiful Victoria Island.
With 2 nights in Victoria, we will enjoy the picturesque Inner Harbor. Our Nomadic Adventure club participants can explore popular sites like the Parliament Buildings and the Royal British Columbia Museum, as well as plenty of quaint cafes and splendid restaurants boasting wonderful views of the water. Some NAC II participants may opt to spend time at the renowned Butchart Gardens, or hike through Goldstream Provincial Park, or perhaps we will decide to wander over to Cowichan Valley, where dozens of small vineyards offer tours and tastings.
Next on the Nomadic Adventure Club II yacht adventure is a stop at Roche Harbor. Roche Harbor is full of things to do and new things to see! Just before sunset each night during the summer, Roche Harbor has the tradition of the yachters Colors Ceremony. The marina staff retires the flags of Roche Harbor, Washington state, Great Britain, Canada and the United States. The Roche Harbor dock staff lowers the flags while a song plays, and before the American flag comes down a cannon shot booms through the harbor. After the ceremony concludes, they announce the weather, welcome new and returning guests, and recognize special occasions being celebrated around the resort. Aboard our vessel, the Nomadic Adventure Club II will be enjoying a dockside feast of fresh caught dungenous crab. At Roche there is kayaking, whale watching, bocce, shopping, trails, and much more!
On day 5 of our Nomadic Adventure we will be yachting around Orcas Island and ending up dropping anchor at the scenic Rosario Resort and Spa.
Just watching the sea planes take off and land can be all the entertainment one wants while sitting Aft deck aboard the Polar Express. Anyone who wants to do a day at the Spa, or hike the trails, or explore the art galleries — all of it is available for your enjoyment. We can schedule spa services that you would like to experience once on the yacht but before we get to Rosario. Spa services and extra activities are at your own expense.
Our final stop will be at the Viking City: Poulsbo, Washington. Surrounded by the majestic, snow-peaked Olympic Mountains, Poulsbo has a wonderful small town feel – all walking distance from the yacht. After more guitar under the stars, and something from the best bakery around, and a few more pictures of bald eagles and sea lions … and we will part in the morning for Seattle to end our and NAC-II yacht AMAZING adventure.
Transportation to and from the airport will be provided.
